The Panoptikon Experiment operates simultaneously as an interactive video installation and a modular set for performances, made up of eight trapezoidal architectural room frames that create an octagonal space. The structure comes from Jeremy Bentham’s panopticon as a model for prisons and total surveillance which relies on the anonymity of the surveiller.
